Abstract

Taking into account the objective differences that exist between legal systems and national legal orders, the role of comparative law as a method of knowledge remains important for modern legal science. At the same time, international processes involving groups of states united in various international structures, including international organizations and interstate integration associations, can also be studied using the comparative legal method. The article concludes that in order to harmonize international standards, including in the field of human rights protection, to form coordinated approaches within the framework of an interstate integration association, and to effectively promote regional integration in general, it is necessary, along with the international legal method, to use comparative legal method. This thesis fully applies to the functioning of the Eurasian Economic Union, where the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic participate. The use of the comparative legal method in analyzing the constitutional models of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union is necessary for the further development of this interstate integration association, a more complete realization of its potential, and the development of coordinated approaches of states in overcoming and resolving conflicts.
